U. Okebugwu law firm was birthed out of knowing the value of personalized legal service and wanting to provide that to Clients.

The founding principal Ubanna Okebugwu, having worked in a large law firm, understood how Clients who despite desperately longing for personalized service turned out to be just another number. Ubanna Okebugwu is an internationally trained lawyer with vast legal experience in business law, immigration law and Wills. She is fully licensed to practice law in the province of Ontario and is a member of good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Since being called to the Ontario bar, she has worked with top boutique firms in the area of business law & immigration law. Her passion for excellence has fueled her performance and success.

Administrative Team

Navitha Persaud joined UO Law as a Law Clerk that supports in the Real Estate practice at the firm. Before joining UO Law, Navitha has worked in the legal industry as a Law Clerk for over 5 years. She has been an integral part of the day-to-day business transactions. Navitha maintains a professional and positive relationship with all of our clients. She also oversees the office administration and ensures that the files are handled in a timely and efficient manner. 
Shabana Safi joined UO Law as a Legal Assistant/Client Care Lead that provides high quality legal administrative support at the firm. Shabana ensures the efficient and effective administration of the office and ensures our Client’s needs are meet in a timely and satisfactory manner. She manages the day-to-day operations of the office, including client interactions and does so in a friendly and professional manner. Shabana holds a Law Clerk Diploma from Seneca College.
Jodelle Matthew joined UO law, as a Paralegal. She specializes in Landlord and Tenant matters and works hard to ensure that clients are satisfied. Jodelle graduated from the Paralegal Graduate Program at Durham College with Honors. Her goal is to help others in their legal struggles and apply her knowledge in a professional yet down-to- earth manner.
