The founding principal Ubanna Okebugwu, having worked in a large law firm, understood how Clients who despite desperately longing for personalized service turned out to be just another number. We see the value in customized service that’s why we pride ourselves in working WITH our clients and FOR our Clients. We provide services tailored to meet Clients’ specific needs and interest.
Education
Ubanna Okebugwu is an internationally trained lawyer with vast legal experience in Real Estate Law, Business Law, Immigration Law and Wills and Estate. She holds a dual licence to practice law, one of the countries being Canada in the province of Ontario where she has practised for over a decade. Ubanna is a member of good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Prior to starting her firm, Ubanna had worked with top boutique firms in the area of business law & immigration law. Her passion for excellence has fuelled her performance and success.
Leadership and Membership
Ubanna in her role as founding lawyer, exercises a unique leadership style of participative and situational, which allows her team function in their strengths, thereby promoting their creativity and efficiencies. She sees Leadership as the ability to bring out the best in others which in turn brings out the best results.
In addition to her role as founder of UO Law, she has also held various leadership roles as Board of Director, Chair of Governance Committee, Board Secretary and Lead Advisor in various non-for-profit organizations.
She has also mentored young students and Paralegals through the High School Co-op and Paralegal Co-op programs as well as new lawyers looking to start their legal career.
She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
